Texas Mutual Awards Safety Education Grants to 11 Colleges

Texas Mutual Insurance Co. is awarding $1.1 million in grants to 11 colleges across the state to fund workplace safety courses for employers, workers and the general public. The grants will support risk management programs at the colleges that include courses on general topics, such as driver safety, ergonomics and federal safety standards, as well as courses focused on the dominant industries in each college's region.
