Report: California Hospital Claim Frequency Down, Severity Up

Workers’ compensation claims among hospital workers in California increased in severity but decreased in frequency during the 10 years ending in 2014, according to a new report from Keenan and Milliman. As a result, overall losses per $100 of payroll remained flat during that period, the report said.
