NCCI Predicts 0.7% Cost Increase from Fee Schedule Changes

Changes to Colorado's Medical Fee Schedule that take effect Jan. 1 will increase total system costs in the state by 0.7%, according to a National Council on Compensation Insurance analysis. Fee schedule changes taking effect at the start of next year will: Update the physician fee schedule from 2014 Relative Values for Physicians to be based on the 2015 Resource-Based Relative Value Scale and update state-specific conversion factors used to calculate reimbursement amounts for all medical categories.
