Former Physician Indicted on Fraud and Drug Charges

A former Lebanon physician who operated two clinics in Russell County has been indicted on federal fraud and drug charges. A federal grand jury charged Dwight L. Bailey with five counts, including conspiracy to commit health care fraud and illegal distribution of narcotics, court documents state. Prosecutors said Bailey continued to prescribe Suboxone for a patient between 2007 and 2012 while the patient continued using marijuana.
