SWCB Revises Inpatient Hospital Fees

The New York State Workers' Compensation Board (SWCB) said Friday it has revised the inpatient hospital fee schedule based on changes in the state's Medicaid system.SWCB Chairman Robert Beloten said the state Department of Health is required by law to establish workers' compensation hospital reimbursement rates.He said health officials have provided SWCB with revised reimbursement rates for inpatient hospital care for patients discharged between April 1 and Sept. 30, 2010, and between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, 2010.The rates also apply to treatment under the Comprehensive Motor Vehicle R...
