The Washington Supreme Court last week ruled that a jury in a workers' compensation case must be instructed that members are to give "special consideration" to the opinion of the worker's treating doctor.
The failure of the trial judge to issue that instruction in Patrick McManus' case was reversible error, the court ruled.
