Maine's Workers' Compensation Board has amended its medical fee schedule for 2019, and it includes higher fees for testimony, a higher conversion factor for anesthesia and higher base rates for hospitals.
The board posted its adjusted medical fees and rules this week, taking effect today. Chapter 5 covers the fees and includes several changes that improve reimbursement for medical providers.
