A roofing contractor based in Palatine, Illinois, is facing $281,286 in proposed federal penalties for allegedly endangering workers at residential projects in the Chicago area.
Manuel Gallardo, owner of Gallardo’s Construction Services, was issued citations on Feb. 20 by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Gallardo has 15 business days to contest the citations.
