Assembly Approves Bill Clarifying That Hand-Foot Law Applies to Pending Claims

All pending claims for the loss of a hand or foot will be subject to the enhanced benefits provided by a law adopted earlier this year, according to a bill approved Thursday by the New Jersey Assembly. Assembly Bill A4134 now goes to the Senate. If it passes that chamber and is signed into law, it would clarify the effective date of S782, which was adopted in January.
