High Court Says Worker Receiving Statutory Maximum Benefit Can't Get More After 2nd Injury

The Supreme Judicial Court of Maine ruled that a worker who was receiving the statutory maximum weekly compensation benefit for an industrial injury could not get further compensation during a period of incapacity that resulted from a later work-related injury.
