Worker's Electrocution Prompts 10 Citations, $61,400 in Fines

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued 10 serious citations, with fines totaling $61,400, to American Railcar Industries, headquartered in Saint Charles, Mo., after an employee was electrocuted while performing repair work on a tanker-style railcar on July 25 at the company's work site near Marmaduke, Ark.American Railcar Industries employs approximately 260 workers at the Marmaduke facility and approximately 1,500 workers nationwide.
