A bill that would exempt the administrative account used to finance Colorado’s workers’ compensation system from a reserve limit that applies to funds of other state agencies was sent to Gov. John Hickenlooper for approval. House Bill 1429, by Rep. Millie Hamner, D-Frisco, says a statutory 16.5% reserve limit doesn’t apply to the Workers’ Compensation Cash Fund.
