Payers' Acceptance of Medical Marijuana Growing

Medical marijuana is moving into the mainstream in workers’ comp, with another major carrier announcing a process for providing cannabis to claimants. Safety National is working with a medical-marijuana vendor to provide cannabis to an injured worker in at least one claim, Sherri Hickey, Safety National’s assistant vice president for medical management, said during a recent webinar.
