DWC Will No Longer Accept Form 110s Filled Out by Non-Lawyers

The Kentucky Department of Workers' Claims will no longer accept a Form 110 settlement agreement prepared by a non-lawyer, pursuant to an opinion issued by the Kentucky Bar Association last week that states filling out such a form constitutes practicing law. The Kentucky Bar Association issues semi-regular opinions warning against actions that constitute the "unauthorized practice of law."
