McDonald Hopkins Announces Hiring of Margaret O'Bryon

Margaret O’Bryon will bring 15 years of workers’ compensation expertise to McDonald Hopkins LLC, the Cleveland-based law firm announced Monday.

O’Bryon also brings 25 years of public law and private-sector experience to her new position as counsel in the firm’s litigation department. She will represent self-insured and state-funded clients in the health care, manufacturing, construction and educational industries, from the administrative level up to the state Supreme Court.

O'Bryon comes to McDonald Hopkins from Walter Haverfield in Cleveland. She is currently the law director for the Village of Kipton, and a prosecutor for the City of Vermillion. She has also served as prosecutor in the Erie County Prosecutor's Office as well as in cities including Lorain, Elyria and Amherst, and the Village of Wellington.

After receiving a bachelor’s of liberal studies from Bowling Green State University, O'Bryon earned her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
