The Oregon Workers' Compensation Board is holding a hearing Dec. 4 to take testimony on rules it's proposing to implement regarding increased attorney fees.
Gov. Kate Brown signed into law House Bill 2764 allowing claimant attorneys to be paid for successfully arguing that a carrier unreasonably delayed or denied care. The bill also authorizes attorneys for injured workers to be paid for obtaining an order to reclassify a claim as disabling.
