Iowa Courts Determine Nurse Worked 40 hours, Not 32

An Iowa nursing assistant's workers' compensation claim was complicated by the fact that her injury occurred less than a month into her new job, raising the question of whether she worked a 32-hour week or a 40-hour week. The Iowa Court of Appeals modified parts of a district court decision which also modified a workers' compensation deputy's decision to rule in favor of an injured worker's employer, Algona Manor.
