Safety citations are piling up for a New Jersey-based residential construction contractor that the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has deemed a serial violator.
Berlin Builders Inc. of Cinaminson was cited on March 23 for two willful, nine repeat, eight serious and one other-than-serious violations. The company, which has 15 days to contest the citations, faces $385,836 in proposed penalties.
The citations arose from OSHA inspections of Berlin worksites in Middletown, Del., and in Limerick and Perkasie, Penn.
