Building Contractor Called 'Serial Violator,' Fined $385K by OSHA

Safety citations are piling up for a New Jersey-based residential construction contractor that the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has deemed a serial violator. Berlin Builders Inc. of Cinaminson was cited on March 23 for two willful, nine repeat, eight serious and one other-than-serious violations. The company, which has 15 days to contest the citations, faces $385,836 in proposed penalties.
