The combined public and private sector industry rate of nonfatal occupational injuries and illnesses dropped to 3.3 per 100 full-time workers in 2014 from 3.4 in 2013, the Utah Labor Commission announced.
In the private sector, the overall incidence of injuries fell to 3.2% from 3.4% in 2013, while cases with days away from work decreased to 0.7 cases per 100 full-time workers from 0.8 in 2013.
