Senator Seeks Study of Bill Review Costs

A Hawaii state senator wants to know whether medical bill review might drive costs in the workers’ compensation system. Sen. Jill N. Tokuda, D-Kane’ohe, introduced a pair of resolutions that would request the state auditor to complete before the start of the 2019 legislative session an assessment of the impact of bill review on overall system costs.
