A federal trial court judge last week issued a tentative decision to dismiss a family’s second effort at suing a workers’ compensation insurance carrier and claims adjuster for wrongfully delaying treatment to an injured worker, resulting in her death.
Lizzeth Cabrera had worked as a sorter with National Beef Packing Co. She suffered multiple injuries while at work in June 2007.
