Worker's compensation costs in Plumas County are falling fast.
The county paid $117,504 in the fiscal year ending 2015, according to a report presented to the county board of supervisors on Feb. 9. The county's average comp cost over the previous six fiscal years was $853,999, according to WorkCompCentral's calculation using the reported annual costs.
The county's comp costs were $377,951 for the fiscal year ending in 2014, $518,390 for the fiscal year ending in 2012 and $1.8 million for the fiscal year ending in 2010.
