Governor Makes Arbitrator Appointment

Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner on Monday appointed Ketki S. Steffen as an arbitrator for the Workers’ Compensation Commission. Steffen worked as an arbitrator from 2013 until November 2015 when she was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Circuit Court of Cook County. In March 2016, Kevin O’Donnell defeated Steffen in the general election. She previously served as an assistant state’s attorney from 1991 to 2010 before starting her own law firm in Elgin. ...
