The New York Workers’ Compensation Board has removed a Cropseyville physician’s authorization to treat injured workers after he surrendered his medical license because of a drunken driving conviction.
The board on Monday removed the authorization for Dr. William Thomas Delaney. The board had temporarily suspended Delaney’s authorization to treat injured workers on Dec. 10.
Delaney was convicted in February of a first-offense driving under the influence charge, assault in the third degree, and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
