Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton last week appointed six members to the Commission on Judicial Selection, which recommends candidates to the governor for vacancies in district trial courts, appellate courts and the Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals.
The governor appointed Mary Al Balber, Jerry Blackwell, Randy Kehr, Linda Krug, Tim O’Brien and William Sieben as at-large members of the commission. They will serve alongside Commission Chairman Lee Sheehy, whose reappointment was announced last month. The terms of these members will expire on Jan. 7, 2019.
