CopperPoint Hires Assistant VP for Strategic Programs

CopperPoint Insurance Cos. announced Tuesday that Trent Marchuk has joined the company as assistant vice president in the Strategic Programs Office, a newly created position.

Marchuk’s primary responsibility will be to orchestrate complex strategic programs. He will be instrumental in bringing people and ideas together as he oversees key programs and "works with leaders to identify and address opportunities, interdependencies and risks," Copperpoint said in a press release.

Marchuk most recently was the head of program management for financial systems transformation at Google, where he worked for more than five years. Prior to Google, he held leadership roles in strategic operations for Cisco, a technology provider.

Marchuk has dual Bachelor of Science degrees in computer information systems and supply chain management from Arizona State University, and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

He holds a graduate certificate in management science and engineering from Stanford University.
