A Hillsboro, Ohio, physician was hit with 29 felony charges this month connected to the illegal sale of oxycodone, according to an indictment against him released Nov. 7.
The indictment accuses Dr. Timothy Manuel of selling oxycodone using false or forged prescriptions on 14 separate occasions between 2009 and 2014.
He's also charged with one count of workers' compensation fraud. The charge accuses him of making a false statement to get paid.
Authorities raided Hillsboro Urgent Care, the clinic where Manuel worked, in April 2014, seizing patient records.
