PIANY Applauds Passage of 30-Day Notice Bill

An association of New York insurance agents applauded the passage of a bill requiring workers' compensation insurers to notify policyholders at least 30 days before their renewal date if their premiums are slated to go up more than 10%. The Professional Insurance Agents of New York State (PIANY) announced in a press release Thursday its support for that bill and others nearing final approval.
