Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell appointed Ronald Nalikak to a four-year term as a management representative on the state’s Workers’ Compensation Board.Nalikak, of Anchorage, is a safety and security manager for Arctic Slope Regional Corp. He formerly served with the Barrow Volunteer Fire Department and holds a master’s degree in Rural Development, Tribal and Local Government Administration from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.The Legislature confirmed the appointment on April 8, and the term expires on March 1, 2017.The appointment leaves a single vacancy on the board for a labo...
