Labor Commission Proposes Typo Fix in Medical Fee Schedule, Review of Other Rules

The Utah Labor Commission proposed rules to fix a typo in the medical fee schedule that overstated the conversion factor used to determine reimbursement for anesthesiology. At the same time, the commission published in the latest version of the Utah State Bulletin notices that it was opening a rule review comment period on four regulations addressing its authority to promulgate rules and basic definitions for the workers’ compensation system.
