Board Updates List of Providers Authorized to Help Injured Workers

The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board has added 80 medical personnel to its list of providers authorized to treat injured workers, and removed 87 others who had been authorized to render treatment or conduct independent medical examinations. Providers authorized to treat and perform IMEs have an authorization number that ends in B, according to Subject No. 046-1006, issued Wednesday by board Chair Clarissa M. Rodriguez.
