Worker Doesn't Need to Mitigate Disability to Get Accidental Disability Retirement

The Rhode Island Supreme Court ruled that an injured police officer was not required to mitigate her disability from an on-the-job injury by undergoing surgery in order to be eligible for an accidental disability retirement.   Case: Prew v.
