Two brokers pleaded not guilty to charges of grand theft, conspiracy to commit fraud, forgery and theft of insurance premiums, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office announced.
Christopher Ramos, 38, and Jay Trisko, 36, were arrested Nov. 9 and made their first court appearances the next day. Bail was set at $550,000 for both men.
Ramos and Trisko operated Solutions Insurance Brokerage LLC in San Francisco. From September 2010 to December 2012, they collected premium payments, but only forwarded some of those premiums to insurance companies, the District Attorney's Office said....
