The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation announced that it has approved regulations that will allow medical providers to bill insurers for telemedicine services.
The rules, contained in Section 133.30 of the Texas Administrative Code, allow providers to be reimbursed for services regardless of where the injured worker is located at the time the services were delivered if Medicare payment policies are followed.
