A bill requiring an examination by a properly accredited physician for all workers who file a psychological stress claim will cost $28,685 in the 2016-2017 fiscal year, according to an analysis prepared by the Colorado Legislative Council.
House Bill 1399, by Rep. Jonathan Singer, D-Longmont, would declare that a claim for mental impairment benefits may not be denied based solely on the occupation of the worker.
