The Nevada Division of Industrial Relations announced that the standard mileage reimbursement for injured workers who have to travel to medical appointments increased to 57.5 cents per mile effective Jan. 1, 2015, from 56 cents per mile in 2014.
The division's regulations require that injured worker reimbursement rates be the same as what is paid to state employees for official business travel. The state employee reimbursement rate is tied to the maximum expenses for business travel authorized by the Internal Revenue Service.
