An event company that held a circus despite severe thunderstorm warnings, resulting in a fatal tent collapse, has settled a case with the federal work safety agency for $24,000.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited Florida-based Walker International Events in February for 14 serious violations of workplace safety standards.
