WCD Updates Travel Reimbursement Bulletin

Oregon’s Workers’ Compensation Division updated Bulletin No. 112 to note that the reimbursement for travel to medical appointments has increased to 54.5 cents per mile, from 53.5 cents, at the start of the year.

The division revised the form carriers must send to injured workers allowing them to request reimbursement for traveling to independent medical examinations. The revised form replaces the heading “doctor or hospital” with “medical provider.”

The division said lodging and meal rates last updated in October have not been changed.
