Proposed changes to Montana's medical fee schedule will reduce rates paid for general medicine services by 1.3% while increasing rates for anesthesiology by 2.6% on July 1, according to an announcement by the Department of Labor and Industry on Thursday.The department is also proposing updates to three areas of its Utilization and Treatment Guidelines.The department proposes to reduce the conversion factor used in the state's Resource-Based Relative Value Scale fee schedule for general medicine services to $59.72 from $60.52 on July 1.
