The committee that advises the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division on which medical services should be compensable will continue its review of platelet-rich plasma during an Oct. 19 meeting. The Medical Advisory Committee will discuss literature on the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma injections, which have been used to treat injuries to tendons, ligaments and muscles.
