DWC Offering Construction Safety Classes

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation will offer construction safety training in Lubbock, beginning in February. The division said in a bulletin that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration courses will be offered in English on Feb. 25-26 and in Spanish Feb. 27-28. The courses will cover construction safety and accident prevention, OSHA standards and requirements, workers' rights, employers' responsibilities, and complaint filing procedures.
