Commission Develops Timeline to Set Medical Fee Schedule

The Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission will discuss its medical fee schedule project, data sources and fee schedule design Thursday at its headquarters, 1000 DMV Drive, Richmond. The commission last month selected a Melville, New York-based firm as the vendor to develop and implement a medical fee schedule that officials hope will reduce the 2,000 medical fee disputes that occur on average each year in the commonwealth.
