Claims of Bias, Attorney Malfeasance Not Enough for New Settlement

In a memorandum opinion issued Wednesday, the state Supreme Court affirmed that a worker had a full and fair opportunity to litigate the issues in his workers' compensation claim, and the settlement should not be modified.  Case: Rosales v. Icicle Seafoods Inc., Supreme Court of Alaska, No. 1643, 07/19/2017, unpublished. Facts: Hugo Rosales worked for Icicle Seafoods Inc. on a fish-processing boat. He was knocked unconscious by a 54-pound tray of frozen fish falling on his head. He received treatment on the boat and went back to work.  He worked for the next few days...
