Bill to Keep Workers' Contact Info Private Goes to Governor

The Florida Legislature has sent to the governor's desk a bill exempting injured workers' contact information from public records requests.  Lawyers can use that information to seek out potential clients.  "Public records requests for this information have resulted in unwanted solicitation of injured workers and their families," the bill authors wrote in the enrolled version of HB 1107.
