The North Carolina Industrial Commission will hold a public hearing Monday on rule-making options stemming from an Aug. 9 court decision invalidating the medical fee schedule provisions for ambulatory surgery centers.
Wake County Superior Court Judge Paul C. Ridgeway ruled last month that the commission failed to craft or obtain a fiscal note stating whether the fee schedule enacted April 1, 2015, would increase or decrease costs and did not explain how the amount was computed.
