Registration Opens for Educational Conference

Oregon’s Department of Consumer and Business Services opened registration for its 16th annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference scheduled for the end of September.

The conference is designed for those working in the state’s work comp system, with general sessions providing information about the entire industry, and concurrent workshops that focus on specific issues.

The department said the 2018 conference will include basic workshops for those new to the state’s system, as well as advanced workshops for those more familiar with the state’s rules.

Registration is $275 per person if registered by Aug. 26, after which the cost increases to $350.

The 2018 Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference is Sept. 26 and 27 at the Red Lion on the River, 909 N. Hayden Island Drive, in Portland.
