Dropping plans to appeal to the state Supreme Court, the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has agreed to a $420 million settlement of a 2007 class-action lawsuit that charged it with discriminatory pricing.
More than 200,000 employers may be eligible for a portion of the settlement, which will also cover attorneys fees and administration and court costs.
