Court Reduces Jury's Award to Workers for Burn Injuries From Well Explosion

A Louisiana appellate court reduced a jury’s multi-million award to two severely burned oil well workers, finding that a jury had awarded excessive amounts for lost future earnings. Case: Shephard v.
