New Law Allows WCC to Send Decisions and Orders Electronically

Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley has signed into law a bill that will allow the Workers' Compensation Commission to send copies of its decisions and orders electronically, with the consent of the attorneys involved.According to a notice in Friday's edition of the Maryland Register, Senate Bill 65 will take effect on Oct. 1. The state Senate approved the measure 42-0 on Jan. 21, and the House approved the bill 131-0 on March 28.
