SWCB Revises Inpatient Fees for 2009

The New York State Workers' Compensation Board (SWCB) announced on Tuesday it has revised some 2009 reimbursement rates for inpatient hospital fees in response to changes to the state Medicaid schedule made by the state Department of Health.The Health Department promulgates workers' compensation hospital rates using the All Patients Refined-Diagnostic Related Groups (APR-DRG) applied to the state Medicaid system.SWCB Chairman Robert Beloten said in a regulatory notice on Tuesday that the Health Department has revised reimbursement rates for inpatient hospital care involving patients wi...
